Keystone Potato, a food production factory, located in Hegins Pennsylvania, asked Durable Surfaces to provide a solution for their damaged concrete under their potato production machines.

During the potato making process, the starch from the potatoes had been leaking onto the slab over time and eating away at the concrete. Our team came in and installed a high build urethane cement coating system in order to protect the concrete from further damage.

We also installed a new trench drain in a portion of their facility as they were having spilling issues from water and needed that water to drain. We re pitched the floor to allow the water to drain properly so that their facilities production process could run efficiently.
