Cold Storage facilities and floors are subjected to extreme internal environmental conditions. Temperatures ranging from -20 to 40 degrees make everything more challenging for MHE, employees and the concrete surfaces they operate on. Depending on the design of the floor, doors, airflow, humidity, temperature, temperature step down schedule, and the underfloor heating system, if any, can lead to issues that drive cracking, dominate joints, slab heaving, and accelerated wear at door locations.
