About This Role:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Tradesman 1 – Concrete Finisher to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of concrete finishing techniques and practices, with a focus on quality and safety. This role involves working on various concrete projects, ensuring that all finishes meet company standards and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with surface preparation, including grinding, cleaning, and leveling concrete surfaces.
• Perform basic concrete repair work such as patching cracks, filling voids, and resurfacing damaged areas.
• Use hand and power tools, including grinders, polishers, and trowels, to achieve desired finishes.
• Apply coatings, sealants, densifiers, and other protective treatments to enhance concrete durability.
• Support experienced craftsmen in polishing and finishing techniques to meet project specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored.
• Follow all company safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a safe work environment.
• Assist with job site setup and breakdown, including moving materials and preparing equipment.
• Learn and apply company-standard finishing techniques through on-the-job training and mentorship.
• Communicate with team members to ensure efficiency, quality, and adherence to project timelines.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a concrete finisher preferred.
• Familiarity with various concrete finishing techniques and tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work.
• Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Working Conditions:

• Nights, Overnight, and Weekends are required.
• Travel across the United States is required.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
• Safety equipment must be worn at all times.
